Mohokare Speaker, Mrs Motsehwa Sehanka, has been informed by Joel Mofareka (MEC for Local Government and Housing) that if Mohokare Municipality’s house is not in order by the end of March, the municipality would be placed under administration. The warning came during a visit to Zastron.

Smithfield’s annual winter BibberChill Festival has been brought forward this year to avoid the worst of the winter chill and is now scheduled for Saturday, 24 May.
With planning well underway, Festival 2008 will be the biggest to date and is being promoted on a wider scale than ever before.
