Charlene Snyman
She may not be a Smithfielder in the true sense but Charlene Snyman has certainly done us proud in the way she steered this year’s BibberChill to success.
Taking over the chair of the organising committee very late in the day, she immediately took control and although she insists that what happened was a team effort there is no denying that she was very much the leader of that team. She showed great professionalism and experience and in assuming many of the duties herself, was particularly valuable in providing access to a variety of specialised services.
Charlene was born in Bloemfontein and, before assuming the role of Sales and Marketing Manager for Letsatsi, had similar responsibilities for a large hotel group on the Garden Route. She has two sons, a 14-year-old and a 6-year-old.
